Wood drying can also be energy-efficient - with the right technology

Are drying systems energy-efficient enough as of 2023? Holzkurier asked this question in an online survey in January. The result of the survey: only 30% of participants answered "yes" - 50% answered "no".

This shows that wood drying is still considered an energy-intensive process in the timber industry. And this is understandable, as not all manufacturers of wood drying systems pay attention to the now central issue of energy efficiency and resource conservation.
