Mühlböck drying technology installed a Classic belt dryer in Nawaro Energie's brand-new pelleting plant in Göpfritz an der Wild, which meets the high sustainability and efficiency standards of this plant.

Until 2025, five Mühlböck progressive kilns will be delivered to Holzwerke Ladenburger in Kerkingen (Germany) in two stages. Among others, the wood drying specialist from the Innviertel region owes this lucrative contract – at more than ten million Euros the largest project in the company’s history – to the energy-efficient technology of its systems and the tailored implementation of customer requirements such as a customised transport system.

In addition to investing in new, energy-efficient dry kilns and progressive kilns in recent months, our customer Rubner Holzindustrie in Rohrbach a. d. Lafnitz has also optimised its existing drying plants.

When Power Wood Corp. of Surrey moved their Custom Cedar production to a new location in Agassiz B.C., Canada this summer, they too chose Mühlböck to design their new 4 kiln drying capacity, with the flexibility of installation in 2 phases.

The First Nations owned Meadow Lake Tribal Council Bioenergy Centre has started their ambitious project of generating carbon-neutral green power, by building a 6.6 MW power generation system that is fueled primarily by biomass sawmill residuals.

In order to take their company further into the future, Boucher Bros. Lumber Ltd. of Nampa, Alberta has recently invested in several sawmill upgrades to increase their efficiency and annual capacity.

In the spring of 2018 Zavisha Sawmills in Hines Creek, Alberta Canada has increased their drying capacity with two Mühlböck drying kilns with heat recovery system 1306.
